February has started off well. The tropical blue waters have pulled into Struisbaai, bringing with it catches of cape salmon and yellowtail. A few tuna have been caught off Cape Point. This is very early in the year as traditionally we only expect them from the end of March. I’m looking forward to an exciting tuna season.
