Catch of the Day #034

The cold fronts and small weather gaps have made fishing difficult. We have caught a handful of red roman, red stumpnose and some silver fish in Struisbaai over the last few days... but catches have been far and few between with the cold water and fish not wanting to bite. We are patiently waiting for the yellowtail that have arrived at Dassen Island with lock jaw to start feeding, so hopefully we will have them on the menu after the next strong NW wind.

With the rainy cold days, we have seen some Greenfish home chefs making the most of the weather with some beautiful crayfish curries. Inspired by their photo reviews.
