Known for its distinctive shape like the moon, opah or moonfish is an elusive, warm blooded fish that frequents our waters off Cape Point. They can grow up to 100kg and 1.1m in size and are sought after for their delicious, rich, creamy taste. Colour varies from a light pink to orange to red. Different parts of the fish yield different flavour profiles. We endeavour to cut steaks symmetrically, but due to the shape of the fish some cuts will vary. This is our first time offering moonfish so give it a try and give us your feedback. We will continuously push the envelope to bring you new and exciting fresh seafood.
