A great option for the real prawn lovers out there, this box offers incredible value to those who can’t get enough of these delicious crustaceans. The prawns arrive at your door frozen whole, cut and deveined and are perfect for a big seafood meal.

*These prawns have been mechanically cut and partially deveined; however, due to their natural shape, some may not be completely cleaned. -
Instructions
Your whole King Prawns will arrive frozen, simply store in your freezer (up to 3 months) and use at your leisure. It is best to remove product from packaging to defrost (do not thaw under vacuum/pressure). Simply place on a tray in your fridge and allow to thaw slowly.
Any special requests or instructions can be left in the NOTES section at the Checkout. Eg: Your doorbell does not work, you require a phone call before the order arrives, you would like the fillets / steaks vacuum packed seperately or cut into smaller portions etc.

- Collections are free and take place Monday to Friday.
- Orders placed online before 11am will be ready to collect same-day from 12h00 to 5pm.
- Orders placed online after 11am will be made ready for collection the following working day, from 12h00 to 5pm.
- Should you place your order after 11am and need it that day, or need to collect before 11am (Monday to Friday) please contact our office 063 666 2802 and we will get it ready for you, it normally takes us an hour to cut and prepare.

Greenfish factory is located in N'Dabeni (Maitland) off Berkley Road turn into Ryger Road. Drive +-300m and the road will bend sharply to the left. We are situated in the bend in a complex called Berkley Square. Ask security for Greenfish Collections. Please park outside the home collection door and ring bell. It is well sign posted. Please park right outside the door.

Farmed prawns have always, in my experience, not tasted as good as good as wild caught. Well, Greenfish certainly showed me the error of my ways so to speak. These prawns were tasty and succulent. The box had a good portion - around 40, I'd guestimate. They cooked well and were free of brine. Expertly cleaned thus cooking was easy. I used minimal seasoning as I wanted to gauge the quality ie texture, tase, size. This product is a winner! I still prefer wild caught prawns, also bought from Greenfish, but am no longer loathe to buy farmed prawns, as long as they are from Greenfish.

I prepared these king prawns very simply with loads of good butter, garlic, chilli and a splash of cream - served with tons of freshly baked rolls to mop up the sauces. Sadly the mountain of prawns just hit the table - and the kids decided to dig in. My photo moment was lost forever (an excuse to buy these again and recapture the pleasure). However - I was ...as always - VERY IMPRESSED with the quality, size and taste of these prawns. Cleaned, neatly packaged and just ready for defrosting, preparing and then enjoying! Delicious! Every bite was just tasty and Greenfish needs to be commended on their excellent seafood, amazing prices, and efficient delivery service. You guys make fine dining on seafood accessible to all of us - especially in these tough economic times! Keep it up!
